This Privacy Policy explains how SiteSee(“SiteSee”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our platform, where homeowners browse house models and order photorealistic CGI videos of a chosen house on their own land. 1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo.
- Content you provide. Saved houses, orders, and the land footage videos you upload. If you register a company, this also includes your company profile and the project files you submit (plans, reference images, 3D files).
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details — we only receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction metadata.
- Technical data. Cookies and similar technologies required to keep you signed in and remember your language, plus basic log data needed to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use your data
- To provide and operate the platform and your account.
- To process orders, payments, and produce and deliver your CGI videos.
- To review and approve companies and house-model listings.
- To send you service notifications about your orders, company, and account.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on: performance of a contract with you (operating your account and orders); legitimate interests (securing and improving the service); consent (where required, e.g. non-essential cookies); and legal obligations (e.g. accounting).
4. Your land footage
Footage you upload may show your property and surroundings and can reveal location information. We use it solely to produce the CGI deliverables you order and to provide related support. We store it in access-controlled storage and do not make it public.
5. Sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run SiteSee:
- Supabase — hosting, database, file storage, and authentication.
- Google — sign-in (OAuth).
- Stripe — payment processing.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the security of the service.
6. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then for any period required to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.
7. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses) are applied.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@sitesee.app. If you are in the EU/EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and row-level security to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of significant incidents where required.
10. Children
SiteSee is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
