SiteSee

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 14 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how SiteSee uses cookies and similar technologies. For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites work and remember information about your visit. We also use equivalent browser storage where appropriate.

2. How we use cookies

SiteSee uses only the cookies needed to run the platform. We do not use advertising cookies.

  • Strictly necessary. Authentication and session cookies (set by our provider, Supabase) keep you securely signed in and protect against fraud. The site cannot function properly without these.
  • Preferences. A cookie remembers your chosen language (English or Latvian) so we can show the right version of the site.
  • Payments. When you check out, Stripe sets cookies on its own pages to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.

3. Cookies we use

  • sb-* (Supabase) — authentication and session. Strictly necessary.
  • NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your language preference. Preferences.
  • __stripe_* (Stripe) — set during checkout to process payments. Strictly necessary for payment.

4. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using core features of the platform.

5. Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves (for example, if we add analytics). We will revise the “Last updated” date above.
